Albeseeingyer secures 3rd place at Beverley on return to action Steph Hollinshead Racing

Albeseeingyer (Al Kazeem x Magic Destiny) ran impressively to claim 3rd place in the 2.10pm ‘Churchill Tyres Handicap’ (Class 5) (0-75, 4yo+) over  7½ furlongs on soft ground at Beverley today (Wednesday 29th May) for owner Mr Ray Bailey.

Affectionately named as ‘Baby’ at the yard, the 5 year old mare was making her reappearance after 368 days off the track. Dougie Costello was on board and took a keen hold on the inside rail before moving wider mid-race and putting up a strong challenge in the final furlong before just being beaten into 2nd place by a short head.

“Super pleased with that run after so long off the track and to be fair it wasn’t her ideal ground. Dougie said it was a bit holding and tacky but despite this she travelled like a dream. They all went a good clip so it was good to see her finish off the race so well. Hopefully she comes out of the race ok and will certainly come on for that run,” said Steph.
